In this niche of the world because of the sheer lure of the land, the seasons, the textures, the nuances of color- the compulsion to paint, for some of us, is nearly irrepressible.  Clinton and its hinterland and citizens are a rich grist for any painter.  God willing this environment will continue to be leaven for my paint box.
